Can a marriage survive infidelity?

I have survived something I never thought would ever happen to me and lo and behold, we are still together. Things are not super great, but I believe a marriage is something you fight for. I am traditional when it comes to that. Do you think someone can live through infidelity in marriage? My wife told me she married too young and that I am more of a friend that anything else. I gave my heart to her, but I do not want to be trampled over too. It seems in this world divorces are so common. I know my marriage has problems, but is there really a perfect union out there?
